What is a Lolly Buffet?

A Lolly Buffet styled by Just Love to Give is a table full of lollies and/or chocolates! Think of it like an all you can eat sizzler bar but with lollies. The lollies are usually displayed in gorgeous glassware and platters with accompanying scoops and tongs so guests can help themselves to their favourite sweets. Each guests normally receives a box to fill up with all their favourites, just like a big kid in a candy store!

What other types of Buffets do you offer?

We not only offer Lolly Buffets, we also offer some alternatives which may suit your event or taste buds better. Other buffets include a Popcorn Buffet, Chocolate Buffet, Fudge Buffet and a Cookie Buffet.

How does a Buffet work?

A Sweet Buffet of your choice is simply that; a buffet. People help themselves to their favourite sweets so they can enjoy all the sweetness they wish. You can choose between having the buffet open from the start of the night when the guests first arrive or choose to open it at particular time of the event i.e. after the first dance.

When people choose to open it at a particular time, it creates a great anticipation for night. It allows people to gaze in awe and once the table opens, the party begins!

Can I mix my Buffet with lollies and chocolate or any other combination?

YES! In some of our packages there's a set number of choices you can choose to have on your buffet otherwise we can happily design a table full of your favourites!

What's the difference between a Dessert Buffet and Lolly Buffet?

The difference between a dessert and lolly buffet is that a dessert buffet is full of baked sweets normally. A dessert buffet usually consists of cupcakes, slices, cake pops, biscuits and many other baked goods. We can definitely organise this for you, contact us directly for a quote.

Is their a Buffet attendant to look after the buffet?

For any buffets over 110 people, you receive a complimentary buffet attendant who will make sure your buffet is looking amazing and full for the whole night! If you're having less than 110 people and would like an attendant at your event, please email us for prices. 

Can I have my cake on my Buffet table?

YES! This a very popular idea and makes a great centrepiece for any buffet.

Is a Sweet Buffet a replacement for bombonnieres?

It has become that way now. You can make it your gift to your guests...let them be a big kid for a night and choose their favourites. Otherwise you can it a feature of your event and still give your guests something small and personal onto top of the buffet.

Do you hire out the vases by themselves?

Unfortunately we don't but it's something we are looking into for the future of the business.

Do you recommend or know of any other Lolly Buffet businesses outside of the area you service?
